Sub-Committees

1. Benefits Sub-Committee

The Benefits Sub-Committee plays a critical and highly specialized role within AFICS-Kenya, with its primary mandate focused on safeguarding and advancing the interests of members in matters related to pensions and After-Service Health Insurance (ASHI). Given that the vast majority—if not all—members rely on monthly pension payments established at the time of their retirement, the Sub-Committee serves as a vital advocate and resource to ensure that these entitlements are protected, accurately disbursed, and clearly understood. In addition, members are enrolled in health insurance schemes administered by their chosen providers, covering a wide range of medical and health-related needs. The Sub-Committee is instrumental in addressing issues, clarifying policies, and providing guidance related to these benefits, thereby promoting financial security, peace of mind, and overall well-being for AFICS-Kenya’s retired community.
